Skin Cancer Screening
Regular skin examinations are an essential part of maintaining long-term skin health, especially for patients with a history of sun exposure. Our expert providers perform thorough full-body skin exams to help identify suspicious lesions early. If needed, a skin biopsy can be performed in our office. We also educate patients on sun protection and how to recognize early warning signs of melanoma and other skin cancers.

Acne Treatments
Acne can significantly affect confidence and daily life, including social and professional interactions. At Dermatology Associates of Ithaca, we take a personalized approach to acne care. Treatment plans are tailored to each patient and may include topical therapies, oral medications, or other medical treatments based on individual skin needs.

Psoriasis and Eczema
Psoriasis and eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, are common inflammatory skin conditions that can have a meaningful impact on quality of life. We offer a wide range of treatment options including topical medications, oral therapies, light therapy, and for more severe cases, advanced injectable or oral treatments.

Contact Dermatitis and Patch Testing
While many patients experience eczema due to an inherited or overactive immune response, some dermatitis is caused by an allergic reaction to a substance that comes into contact with the skin. Identifying the allergen is key to managing the condition. We offer comprehensive patch testing to help determine the cause of contact dermatitis so patients can avoid triggers and, in many cases, significantly improve or resolve symptoms.

Narrowband UVB Phototherapy
For patients with psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, or chronic itch that has not responded to topical treatments, narrowband UVB phototherapy may be an effective option. This treatment involves short, supervised light exposure sessions performed two to three times per week in our clinic. Therapy is closely monitored by our trained staff and expert providers.

Other Dermatologic Conditions
Our providers are trained to diagnose and treat thousands of skin conditions, from common concerns such as acne and warts to complex medical dermatology and skin cancer. We apply the latest medical knowledge and clinical experience to deliver care tailored to your unique skin needs.
